Pisa
Among the most important monuments of the city is the famous Piazza del Duomo, known as Piazza dei Miracoli, declared a World Heritage Site, with the Cathedral built in white and colored marble, between 1063 and 1118. In the square stands the characteristic Leaning Tower , bell tower of the XII century, 56 m high, which acquired its characteristic inclination ten years after the beginning of its construction, today one of the best known Italian monuments in the world.
